I have an Aluratek External Hard Drive that I used to back up my files on my old PC. I have some files (Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets, MP3s) that I would like to access on it however my iMac does not recognize the external drive.
I did check out the manual online:
http://www.aluratek.com/downloads/ACDUES350F_Manual.pdf
It does give instructions to make it accessible for Apple Products. However, I think I would have to reformat the entire drive before doing so.
My question, is there a way to access these files on my external HD without reformatting it first?

In this guide, we will introduce the method of how to transfer files from external hard drive to iPhone. With this method, you would have no data loss. You can read this guide to get the exact solution.
